Fr. Ronald Veigas is Pastor of Saint Francis-Xavier church in Kable, Karnataka, in India.
He walks several miles in order to visit his parishioners who are scattered over a wide area.

Historical background:
Our family has been sponsoring Fr. Rony since 1990, through his studies for the Catholic Priesthood. He visited us in the summer of 2005. We were able to sponsor a fundraising event which included an outdoor Mass in our yard to start him on his Church Building Project.

MISSION WORK
Since 2005, there has been much progress in the continuing work of
the St. Francis Xavier Mission at Kable.

Fr. Ronald Veigas has preached several mission appeals in the United States in 2007.
He will be visiting and preaching again during July 2009.

Mission in India

The Mission in India is to help the villages of Kable, India
to build a new church, St. Francis Xavier.
The needy Catholic Community there has outgrown
the small, flood damaged structure
which is situated in the second rainiest part of the world.
