Mass celebrating the 25th anniversary of the founding of the
Blessed Kateri Tekakwith Mission Church, on February 25, 2007.

Mass began with a procession

   

of the altar servers                     with the original families

and with Father Gerard Sabourin

   

A lector read the first Epistle. Father Sabourin proclaimed the Gospel of the Lord.

   

Because this was the first Sunday of Lent, ashes and a stone
were distributed to the congregation by Fr. Sabourin and a parishioner.

   

One of the original families brought the Gifts of Bread and Wine to be consecrated at the Mass.

An original hymn commemorating the 25th anniversary sung and played by Mike Edwards.

Fr. Sabourin and the congregration prepared to receive the Eucharist
with "Lamb of God..." and "Lord, I am not worthy ..."

Mass ended with the cleaning of the Holy Vessels

      

And a Recession to the Community Room to celebrate with an Anniversary Dinner following the Mass
