The house behind the trees on the left of the tombstone was built on the original foundation of the Philias Rivard's home. This cemetary was moved from behind the church to a plot of land donated to the church of St-Aimé by Philias for the new cemetery. All the remains and tombstones were hauled down to the St-David River and floated on a barge to this location, which fronts on the river.
