Le deux Février mil huit cents quarante-sept, après la publication des trois bans de mariage faite aux prônes de nos messes paroissiales ainsi qu'à St-Michel comme il apport par le certificat de M. Louis Lebrun curé du lieu entre Théophile Théroux fils mineur de Théophile Théroux, cultivateur et de Julie Bernier de St-Michel d'Yamaska d'une part et de Adelaide Lamothe fille majeure de Michel Lamothe cultivateur et de Thérèse Lavallée de cette paroisse d'autre part ne s'étant découvert aucun empêchement ni opposition au dit mariage et reçu le consentement des parents, nous prêtre soussigné, autorisé à cet effet par Monsieur Lafrance curé de la dite paroisse de St-Aimé avons reçu le mutuel consentement de mariage et leur avons donné la bénédiction nuptiale en présence de Théophile Théroux père et de Joseph Théroux frère de l'époux et de Michel Lamothe père et de Michel Lamothe frère de l'épouse qui tous avec les époux n'ont pu signer.

The second of February one thousand eight hundred forty-seven, after the publication of the three bans of marriage carried out during the sermons of our parish masses as well at St-Michel as well as through the certificate of M. Louis Lebrun pastor of the area between Théophile Théroux minor son of Théophile Théroux, farmer and of Julie Bernier of St-Michel d'Yamaska on the one part and of Adelaide Lamother adult daughter of Michel Lamothe farmer and of Thérèse Lavallée of this parish on the other hand, having found no impediment nor opposition to the aforementioned marriage and having received the consent of the parents, we priest undersigned, authorized to this end by Mr. Lafrance pastor of the aforementioned parish of St-Aimé, have received their mutual consent of marriage and have given them the nuptial blessing in the presence of Théophile Théroux father and of Joseph Théroux brother of the groom and of Michel Lamothe father and of Michel Lamothe brother of the bride who all along with the bride and groom did not know how to sign.
