L'an mil huit cent vingt le trente-et-un juillet, après la publication d'un ban de mariage faite au prône de cette paroisse dimanche dernier entre les personnes de Théophile Téroux, cultivateur, fils majeur d'André Téroux et de Charlotte Maclure les parents résidents cette paroisse d'une part, et de Julie Bernier, fille mineure de feu François Bernier et de Thérèse Bergeron, épouse de Joseph Salois ... d'autre part, les parties ayant obtenue dispense de deux bans et du signé de parenté de trois sanglants, ne s'étant trouvé aucun empêchement ni opposition et les parents des parties ayant approuvé au mariage; j'ai reçu le mutuel consentement de mariage de l'époux et de l'épouse et leur ai donné la bénédiction nuptiale avec les cérémonies prescrites par la Sainte Église en présence pour l'époux André Téroux son père et Joseph Goyette et pour l'épouse d'Antoine et Jean Brouillard ... qui ont ainsi que les époux ont déclaré ne savoir signer.

The year one thousand eight hundred twenty, the thirty first July, after the publication of a ban of marriage carried out during the sermon of this parish last Sunday between the persons of Théophie Téroux, farmer, adult son of André Téroux and of Charlotte Maclure, resident parents of this parish on the one part, and of Julie Bernier, minor daughter of the late François Bernier and of Thérèse Bergeron, wife of Joseph Salois ... on the other part, the parites having obtained a dispensation of two bans and of the third degree blood relationship, having found no impediment nor opposition and the parents having approved the marriage; I received the mutual consent of marriage of the bride and groom and gave them the nuptial benediction with the ceremonies prescribed by the Holy Church in the presence, for the groom, of André Téroux, his father and Joseph Goyette, and for the bride of Antoine and Jean Brouillard ... who along with the spouses declared not being able to sign.
