tre de Juin a été inhumé dans le cime-
tière de cette paroisse avec les cérémonies
accoutumées par moy prêtre soussigné fai-
sant les fonctions curiales à Chambly le
corps d'Antoine Ménard capitaine de mélice
décédé dans la communion et muni des
sacrements de notre mère Ste Église mort
d'hier agé de soixante dix ans ont assisté
à la funéraille Noël Larau son gendre
Bt Ménard son frère, Jacques Robert cousin
Jean Bte Renaudet neveu et autres parents
et amys du deffunt qui ont dit ne savoir
écrire

The year one thousand seven hundred sixty-four the
fourth of June was buried in the cemetery
of this parish with the accustomed ceremonies
by me the undersigned priest carrying out
the pastoral functions of Chambly the
body of Antoine Ménard captain of the militia
who died in the communion and blessed with
sacraments of our mother the Holy Church, who died
yesterday at the age of seventy years, assisted
at the burial were Noël Larau his son-in-law
Bt Ménard his brother, Jacques Robert cousin
Jean Bte Renaudet nephew and other relatives
and friends of the deceased who said that they did not know
how to write
