et de defunte Marie Bélanger en
leur vivant de cette paroisse d'autre
part, ne s'étant présenté aucun
empêchement à ce mariage et vu
la dispense de deux bans, nous curé
soussigné avons reçu leur mutuel
consentement et leur avons donné
la bénédiction nuptiale en présence
de Ferdinand Laflamme, Esdras
Laverdière, Louis Fortin, Ferdinand
Letellier, Louis Guay et plusieurs autres
qui ainsi que les époux ont declaré
ne savoir signer. Lecture faite.

eight hundred eighty-five after the
publication of one ban of marriage
carried out from the pulpit of our parish Mass
between Honoré Giroux adult son
of Pierre Giroux and of Sophie
Giroux Dumont of this parish on the one
part and Marie Mathilde Letellier
adult daughter of Jean Baptiste Letellier
of the deceased Marie Bélanger when living
in this parish on the other
part, having been presented no
impediment to this marriage and given
the dispensation of two bans, we the
undersigned pastor received their mutual
consent and imparted upon them
the nuptial blessing in the presence
of Ferdinand Laflamme, Esdras
Laverdière, Louis Fortin, Ferdinand
Letellier, Louis Guay and many others
who as well as the spouses declared
not knowing how to sign. Reading done.
