Le vingt quatre novembre mil sept cens soixante six apres avoir publié au prône
des messes paroissiales par trois dimanches consecutifs, le premier vingtcinquiesme
dimanche, le second vingtsixiesme dimanche, le troisiesme vingtseptiesme dimanche apres
la pencoste, les bans de mariage entre Joseph Champoux agé de vingt quatre ans
fils de Joseph Champoux et de deffunte Marie Anne Gauthier ses pere et mere de cette
paroisse et Agathe Laperche agée de vingt deux ans, fille de Gabriel Laperche
et de Marie Anne Rivet ses pere et mere aussi de cette paroisse, pareille publication
faite a la paroisse de L'Assomption comme il m'a apparu par un certificat de
Monsieur Duguay curé de la ditte paroisse, Monsieur Legrand vicaire ayant
donné la dispense du quatriesme degré de parenté, sans qu'il y soit trouvé aucun
autre empechement ny opposition, je soussigné curé missionaire de la paroisse de
St Sulpice ay reçu leur mutuel consentement de mariage, par paroles du present
et leur ay donné la benediction nuptiale selon les ceremonies prescrited by notre
mere la Ste Eglise en presence de Mathieu Francois Dejardy, de Joseph Beigner, témoins
et amis de l'époux, de Pierre Champoux grandpere de l'époux, de Pierre Laporte beaufrere
de l'époux, de Joseph Champoux pere de l'époux, de Joseph Gautier, de Claude Parent témoins
et amis de l'épouse, de Gabriel Laperche pere de l'épouse et de plusieurs autres parens et amis
qui ont declaré ne savoir signer, Joseph Champoux pere de l'époux a signé avec nous de ce
requis.

The twenty-fourth November one thousand seven hundred sixty-six after having published from the pulpit
of the parish Masses for three consecutive Sundays, the first on the twenty-fifth
Sunday, the second the twenty-sixth Sunday, the third the twenty-seventh Sunday after
Pentecost, the bans of marriage between Joseph Champoux at the age of twenty-four years
son of Joseph Champoux and of the deceased Marie Anne Gauthier his father and mother of this
parish and Agathe Laperche at the age of twenty-two years, daughter of Gabriel Lapeche
and of Marie Anne Rivet her father and mother also of this parish, the same publication
having been carried out in the parish of L'Assomption as it appeared to me in the certificate from
Reverend Duguay pastor of the mentioned parish, Reverend Legrand Vicar having
given dispensation of the fourth degree of consanguinity, without there having been found
no impedicment nor opposition, I the undersigned missionary pastor of the parish of
St-Sulpice received their mutual consent of marriage, by word and presence
and imparted upon them the nuptial blessing according to the ceremonies prescribed by our
mother the Holy Church in the presenc eof Mathieu François Dejardy, Joseph Beigner, witnesses
and friends of the groom, Pierre Champoux grandfather of the groom, Pierre Laporte brother-in-law
of the groom, Joseph Champoux father of the groom, of Joseph Gautier, Claude Parent witnesses
and friends of the bride, Gabriel Laperche father of the bride and many other relatives and friends
who declared not knowing how to sign, Joseph Champoux father of the groom signed with as as
required.
