L'an mil sept cent quarante neuf le vingthuitesme jour
du mois d'Avril apres sois publié les trois bans aux prône
des messes paroissiales avec le premier le dimanche
le treisiesme, le second le vingtiesme, le troisiesme le vingt
septiesme jour du mois d'Avril entre Pierre Lavallé veuf de
Geneviève Belair, fils de defunt Jean Lavallée et de defunte
Charlotte Hus ses pere et mere de cette paroisse et Marie
Peloquain veuve de defunt Antoine Mandeville, fille de
Félix Peloquin et Marie Pelletier ses pere et mere
aussy de cette paroisse faite qu'il y ai eu aucun empeche
ment, je soussigné missionaire en cette paroisse
ay reçu leur mutuel consentement de mariage
et leur ay donné la benediction nuptiale avec les
ceremonies prescrites par la Sainte Eglise en presence
de Michel Lavallé frere du marié, Jean Baptiste Chevalier
son oncle, Félix Peloquain pere de la mariée, François
et Pierre Peloquain ses freres et autres qui ont tous
declaré ne savoir ecrire ny signer de ce requis apres
lecture faite suviant l'ordonnance.

The year one thousand seven hundred forty-nine the twenty-eight day
of the month of April after having published the three bans from the pulpit
of the parish Masses with the first on Sunday
the thirteenth, the second on the twenteeth, the third on the
twenty-seventh day of the month of April between Pierre Lavallée widower of
Geneviève Plessis son of the deceased Jean Lavaillée and the deceased
Charlotte Hus his father and mother of this parish and Marie
Peloquin widow of the deceased Antoine Mandeville, daughter of
Félix Peloquin and Marie Pelletier her father and mother
also of this parish given that there were no impediment
I the undersigned missionary in this parish
received their mutual consent of marriage
and imparted upon them the nuptial blessing with the
ceremonies prescribed by the Holy Church in the presence
of Michel Lavallée brother of the groom, Jean Baptiste Chevalier
his uncle, Félix Peloquain father of the bride, François
and Pierre Peloquain her brothers and others who all
declared not knowing how to write nor sign as required after
reading done according to the ordinance.
