L'an mille sept quarante trois le vingt uniesme janvier apres avoir publie
trois bans aux prônes des messes paroissiales entre Jean Baptiste Coitou fils de
Jacques Coitou dit StJean et de Catherine Bricod ses pere et mere, et entre
Marie Piquot fille de Pierre Piquot et de Magdelene Brusset ses pere et mere
demeurant en cette paroisse, fait qu'il y ait eu aucun empechement, moy
soussigné curé de la paroisse de St Pierre du Portage ay recu leur mutuel consentement
de mariage, et leur ay donné la benediction nuptiale avec les ceremonies
accoutumées en presence de Jacques StJean, Jean Renot, Pierre Piquot et Laurent
Archambault temoins et parents qui n'ont signés qui ont declarer ne savoir
ecrire ny signer de ce interpelle excepté Laurent Archambault.

The year one thousand seven forty-three the twenty-first January after having published
three bans from the pulpit of the parish Masses between Jean Baptiste Coitou son of
Jacques Coitou dit StJean and of Catherine Bricod his father and mother, and between
Marie Piquot daughter of Pierre Piquot and of Magdeleine Brusset her father and mother
residing in this parish, the fact that there were no impediment, I
the undersigned pastor of the parish of St-Pierre-du-Portage received their mutual consent
of marriage, and imparted upon them the nuptial blessing with the customary ceremonies
in the presenc eof Jacques StJean, Jean Renot, Pierre Piquot and Laurent
Archambault witnesses and relatives who did not sign who declared not knowing
how write nor sign as required except for Laurent Archambault.
