L'an mil sept cent trente-six le trentiesme jour du mois de novembre apres la publica
tion de trois bans de mariage publiés aux messes paroissiales de la paroisse de
Saint Antoine de Silli entre Jean Baptiste Bergeron fils de Jean Bergeron
et de deffunte Marie Magdeleine Ferlan ses pere et mere habitans de cette
paroisse d'une part, et de Catherine Geremie fille de Jospeh Jeremie et
de Marieanne Rousseau habitans de la paroisse de Saint Nicolas d'autre
part, sans qu'il se fait trouvé d'empêchement legitime au dit mariage,
nous pretre missionaire de la ditte paroisse de Saint Antoine avons
reçu leur mutuel consentement de mariage et leur avons donné la
benediction nuptialle selon l'esprit de l'eglise romaine et ce en presence
du dit Jean Bergeron pere de l'epoux, d'Etienne Dumass, d'Antoine
Bourguignon, de Francois Cochon, de Louis Voignton, de la mesme
paroisse et autres temoins, parents et amis qui ont declare ne sa-
voir ecrire ni signed de ce requis suivant l'ordonnance, a l'exception
d'Etienne Dumas qui a signé avec nous. Lecture faite a la date de
le mois et jour que cydessus.

The year one thousand seven hundred thirty-six, the thirteeth day of the month of November after the publication
of three bans of marriage published during the parish Masses of the parish of
Saint Antoine de Silli between Jean Baptiste Bergeron son of Jean Bergeron
and of the deceased Marie Magdeleine Ferlan his father and mother residents of this
parish on the one part, and of Catherine Geremie daughter of Joseph Jeremie and
of Marieanne Rousseau residents of the parish of Saint Nicolas on the other
part, with there having been found a legitimate impediment to the mentioned marriage,
we the missionary priest of the mentioned parish of Saint Antoine
received their mutual consent ofmarriage and imparted upon them the
nuptial blessing according to the spirit of the roman Church and this in the presence
of the mentioned Jean Bergeron father of the groom, of Etienne Dumas, of Antoine
Bourguignon, of Francois Cochon, of Louis Voignton, of the same
parish and other witnesses, relatives and friends who declared not
knowing how to write nor sign as required by the ordinance, with the exception
of Etienne Dumas who signed with us. Reading done on the date of
the month and day as above.
