L'an mil sept cens quarante trois le dix aôut je soussigné Curé de St-François déference la Paroisse de St-Michel d'Yamaska ay baptisé Paul fils de Pierre Théroux dit Laferté et de Marie Rose Poitou, né d'aujourd'hui. Le parrain a été Paul Laferté, la marraine Dorothée Pinchon, lesquels aussi bien que le père du baptisé et la sage femme Françoise Dumais ons déclaré ne savoir signer dit enquis suivant l'ordonnance.

The godfather was Paul Laferté, the godmother Dorothée Pinchon, who as well as the father the mid-wife Françoise Dumais declared not knowing how to sign the said document following the ordinance.
