Nicolas PATENAUDE married Marguerite BRETON on 30 October 1651 in Québec. Nicolas died on 13 Feb and was buried on 15 Feb 1679 in Ste-Famille, Ile-d'Orléans, Québec. Marguerite was the daughter of Antoine BRETON & Sainte PAULIN. (4)
TENTH GENERATION
Pierre PATENAUDE was born on 18 July 1658 at Notre-Dame de Québec. He married Catherine BRUNET BELHUMEUR on 25 November 1685 in Montréal. Pierre was buried on 31 March 1715 in Montréal. Catherine was born on 25 August 1669 at Notre-Dame de Montréal. She died on 27 July and was buried on 28 July 1732 in Montréal. Catherine was the daughter of Antoine BRUNET BELHUMEUR & Françoise MOISAN.(6)(12)
NINTH GENERATION
François PATENAUDE was born on 29 January 1701 at Longueuil, Chambly, Québec. He married Ursule ACHIM STANDRÉ on 16 February 1722 in Longueuil. Ursule, daughter of Étienne ACHIM STANDRE & Marie MARCIL LESPAGNOL, was born on 12 March 1704 in Longueuil, Chambly. She died on and was buried on 19 Jun 1744 in Longeuil. François then married Geneviève STANDRE LAMARRE. (1)(12)
EIGHTH GENERATION
François PATENAUDE married Marie Charlotte MÉNARD on 20 May 1765 in Chambly. He was born on 13 Feb 1734 in Longueuil, Québec and died on 3 and was buried on 4 Aug 1795 in Chambly, Québec. Marie Charlotte, born around 1744, was the adopted daughter of Antoine MÉNARD & Marie HUET. Marie Charlotte died on 2 April and was buried on 3 April 1774 in Chambly. There was a note on the burial certificate that indicated that Marie Charlotte was the wife of François Patenote. (2)

Alexis PATENAUDE was born and baptized 11 Oct 1770 in St-Joseph-de-Chambly. He married Marie DesAnges MONTY on 1 March 1791 in Chambly. Alexis died on 4 and buried on 5 March 1825 in Napierville. The name was also spelled PATENOTE. Marie DesAnges, the daugher of Amable MONTY & Marie Angélique LETOURNEAU, was born & baptized on 27 Apr 1767 in Chambly. Marie died on 27 & was buried on 29 Oct 1851 in St-Valentin, Co. St-Jean, Québec. Marie married a second time to Louis Fortin dit Rocques.(3)(7)

Alexis Patenaude born 2 July 1797 at Chambly. He died on 22 and was buried on 27 September 1854 at St Valentin. He married Louise Menard on 9 November 1824 at St Luc. The Census 1851 Canada East list Alexis and Louise and their children.Children of Alexis & Louise

ii. Corinne Valentine Patenaude was born & baptized 3 Mar 1865, St-Valentin, St-Jean, QC. She died on 21 Jun 1912, Springfield, MA. She married George A Roberts on 15 Jul 1883, Springfield, Hampton, Massachusetts. George was born about 1862 and died 7 Mar 1904, Chicopee Falls, Hampden Co., MA.
iii. Jean-Baptiste Romuald Patenaude was born & bapized on 21 July 1867 in St-Valentin, Co. St-Jean, Québec.
