ELEVENTH GENERATION

Jean COITOU STJEAN married Marie Thérèse PETIT, daughter of Pierre PETIT & Marie Marguerite BLONDEAU,** before 17 March 1678 somewhere in Québec. Jean died on 9 November and was buried on 10 November 1726 in Pointe-aux-Trembles. Marie Thérèse died on 24 Mary and was buried on 25 May 1738 in Contrecoeur. (4)

 

TENTH GENERATION

Jacques COITOU dit ST-JEAN married Marie-Catherine BRICAULT LAMARCHE on 24 January 1718 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Québec. Catherine was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste BRICAULT LAMARCHE & Marie CHENIER** who were married on 12 November 1674 in Montréal. Jacques COITOU was buried on 11 December 1748 in L'Assomption. Marie-Catherine was buried on 28 June 1759 in L'Assomption. (1)

 

NINTH GENERATION

Jean-Baptiste POITOU COITOU dit ST-JEAN married Marie-Madeleine PICOTE dit BARRIÈRE on 21 January 1743 in L'Assomption, Québec. Marie-Madeline was the daughter of Pierre PICOTE & Madeline BROUSSEAU BROSSEU** who were married on 25 November 1720 in Charlesbourg, Québec. Jean-Baptiste died on 30 April and was buried on 1 May 1761 in Verchères. Marie-Madeleine died on 17 October and was buried on 19 October 1807 in Ste-Anne-des-Plaines. (2)(3)

 

EIGHTH GENERATION

Marie Agathe COITOU ST-JEAN POITOU, born in 1750 and died in 1786, married André PAQUET dit VALLÉE, born on 23 & baptized on 26 November 1744 and died 1793, on 15 February 1768 in Verchères. André's parents were Charles PAQUET VALLÉE & Marie Charlotte ALLAIRE DALLAIRE who were married on 29 October 1725 in Beaumont. Charles, son of Charles PAQUET VALLÉE & Jeanne COULOMBE** died on 19 October and was buried on 20 October in Verchères. Marie Charlotte, daughter of Jean François ALLAIRE & Anne Marie LABBÉ** died on 18 July and was buried on 20 July 1787 in Verchères. (7)(7b)

 

SEVENTH GENERATION

Barthelemi PAQUET dit VALLÊE, born 1781, married Marie Amable PINEL dit LAFRANCE, born on 31 July & baptized 1 August 1778 in Verchères, daughter of Charles PINEL LAFRANCE & Angélique Marie Joseph PLOURDE**, on 9 August 1802 in St. Marc, Richelieu. (11)

 

SIXTH GENERATION

Emmanuel LUSSIER, son of Louis LUSSIER & Marie Magdeleine BROUILLET, married Marguerite PAQUET dit VALLÉE LAVALLÉE, daughter of Barthelemi PAQUET & Amable PINEL on 9 Nov 1818 in St-François-Xavier, Verchères. One of their daughters Eleonore LUSSIER married Louis LABERBE on 29 January 1839 in St-François-Xavier, Verchères also. (10)

FIFTH GENERATION

Marie Rosalie Sara LUSSIER, widow of Alexis DUCLOS, married Pierre MÉNARD(1805 - 1891), widower of Apolline PLANTE on 7 Jan 1857 in Stanbridge, Missisquoi County. (9)(12)

FOURTH GENERATION

Joseph MÉNARD married Rosalie GRANGER, daughter of Eustache GRANGER & Mathilde Sénésac, on 31 Aug 1881, in Stanbridge, Missisquoi County, Québec, Canada. (8)

THIRD GENERATION

Oliver MAYNARD/MÉNARD was born in 17 Mar 1897 in Burlington, VT. He died in 27 Jun 1933 in Burlington, VT. He married Gladys Gertrude BRYANT 7 May 1925 in Burlington, VT. Gladys was born 8 Jun 1908 and died 11 Mar 1999 in New London, CT. She was the daughter of Clifton Jackson BRYANT & Florence Gertrude WELLS Clifton was born 2 Jun 1879 in St. Albans, VT and died Mar 1950 in Plainville CT. (8)

SECOND GENERATION

Clifton Oliver MAYNARD was born 17 Aug 1925 in Burlington, VT. He died 20 Jan 1995 in New London CT. He married Mary Julia MORELL on 28 Jan 1956 in Norwich, CT. (8)

FIRST GENERATION

Lynn Ann MÉNARD was born 9 Nov 1956. She married David Fraser Mathieson on 1 Aug 1998. (8)
