This is a complete list of the Carignan-Salières Regiment Officers and Soldiers.On 6 Jul 1697, Iberville recruited men from Québec, at Plaisance, in the county of Papineau. Listed as number "40) leveillé: X dit Léveillé, soldat, n. France, 1697 Plaisance". Could this be Pierre or Julien or a relative?

Pierre FOURQUIN dit LÉVEILLÉE was born 24 Jan 1686. (6) He was also known as FOURQUAIN dit LÉVEILLÉ. He married Barbe FÉLIS before 31 Dec 1723 in Vittel, diocèse de Toul, Vosges, Lorraine, France.
According to Tanguay, Pierre is listed as FOURQUAIN with the surname LÉVEILLÉ.
Barbe FÉLIS was born in the eastern region of Lorraine, France, which is presently the Department of Meurthe-et-Moselle, France. She was known as Barbe FÉLIX/FRANÇOIS
SEVENTH GENERATION
Joseph François FOURQUIN-LÉVEILLÉE was baptized around 1723 in the Parish of Vitée, diocese of Thou, Lorraine, France. Vitée is situated in the heart of the Lorraine Plains. It is southeast of Newfchâteau in the Department of Vosges and south of Nancy in Lorraine, France.
He was also known as Joseph FOURQUAIN dit LÉVEILLÉE (Tanguay) and François FOURQUIN-LÉVEILLÉE. He is listed as a godfather to Marie Agathe CANTARA on the Baptismal Acte of 22 Oct 1759. His name appears as JOSEPH FOURCAIN LEVEILLE and his occupation is listed as "SOLDAT AU REGIMENT DE LANGUEDOC". His goddaughter Marie Agathe lived less than a month.
He married Marie-Anne GIGUÈRE on 22 Feb 1762 in St-Michel, Yamaska, Québec. The Marriage Contract was set up on 2 Mar 1762 with the Notary Louis PILLARD. He was buried on 31 Oct 1790 in St-Michel, Yamaska, Québec.
There is an entry in the Family Tree Maker's Archives: Passenger and Immigration Lists Index, 1500s-1900s that states "Fourquain, Joseph, 1762, Québec, from Norman Laybourn Emigrations of Alsaciens & Lorrains." This would probably indicate that Joseph was born in Diocèse de Thou, Toul, Lorraine, France, where his parents were married.
Marie-Anne GIGUÈRE dit GRANDMENIL was baptized in 1739. She was also known as Anne. Anne was the widow of Joseph PETIT GRANDMENIL aka François Regis, whom she married 6 Feb 1758. Marie-Anne and Joseph has a son named Pierre PETIT. Marie-Anne married a third time to Jean-Baptiste CHEVALIER.
SIXTH GENERATION
Joseph FOURQUIN dit LÉVEILLÉ was born on 3 Nov and baptized 4 Nov 1763 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He married Marguerite LASALLE dit TALUSSIER on 20 May 1787 in St-Michel, Yamaska, Québec.
Marguerite TALUSSIER was born and baptized 9 May 1763 in the Paroisse Immaculée Conception in Trois-Rivières. She was also known as Marguerite LASALLE and as TALUSSIER dit LASALLE. Please note: In the Baptismal entry for Marguerite in the copy, made from the clerk's office, of the Parish Register of the Cathedral of l'Assomption of Trois-Rivières, Pierre Talussier "dit name" is written as "dit Lavallée". It is written as "dit Lasalle" on the copy made from the register in the Rectory of the Paroisse (parish) Immaculée Conception.

FIFTH GENERATION
Noël LÉVEILLÉ was baptized 24 Dec 1794 (3) (19). He married Julie HÉBERT (Félix & Josette BADAYAC) 2 Feb 1818 in St-Michel d'Yamaska.
FOURTH GENERATION
Noël LÉVEILLÉ was born 6 Nov 1822 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He first married Madeline LOZON 3 Nov 1843 probably in Michillimakinac (Mackinaw City, Michigan). He then married Élizabeth LOZON-TERRIAN (sister to Madeline) on 28 Dec 1865. He died in St. Ignace, Michigan in the spring of 1906. Madeline and Élizabeth's parents were Joseph LOZON & Nancy PILLOTTE
Noël and Madeline had 9 children. Noël and Élizabeth had 4 children.
THIRD GENERATION
Louis Félix LÉVEILLÉ was born 24 April 1857 in Mackinack Island, Michigan. He died on 29 May1922. He was a farmer. He married Anna WACHTER. She was born on 30 July 1967 in Scotts Pointe. Her aprents were John WACHTER, born 1833 and Mary BELONGA, born in 1938 whose parents were Paul BELONGA & Angelique MONTREUIL. They had 5 children.
SECOND GENERATION
Sedgewick William LÉVEILLÉ was on 21 August 1891. His occupation was in transportation. He died 18 July 1969 in St. Ignace, Michigan. He married Anna GREENLESS on 1 November 1917. Anna was born on 27 June 1897 in Scotts Point. She died on 27 May 1976 in St. Igance. Her parents were Joe GREENLESS & Ellen HART.
FIRST GENERATION
Sally LÉVEILLÉ married Harold KRIESCHE They have 3 children.
