King's Daughters and Founding Mothers: The Filles du Roi, 1663-1673" by Peter J. Gagne.

According to Peter Gagne's book (p. 474), Jeanne Quentin was b. about 1652 in Saint-Paul, Paris. She arrived in Canada in 1673 with goods worth an estimated 200 livres for her dowry.

She m. Jean-Pierre CHANAS (CHAGNOS per PRDH) on 9 Sept. 1673 and their only child Jean-Pierre (also Pierre-Michel per PRDH and Jette) was born in Varennes (Boucherville per PRDH) on 20 Dec. 1674.

There is no trace of Jean-Pierre CHANAS after this date.

On 29 April 1678, Jeanne gave birth to an illegitimate daughter, Marie, at Quebec city (father unknown) and returned to France later that year.

As for their son, the PRDH indicates that he "died outside of Quebec"
