ELEVENTH GENERATION

Louis GUIMONT married Jeanne BITOUSET on 11 Feb 1653 Québec City, Québec, Canada. They had four children.(1)(2)(3)(5)(6)

Louis GUIMONT was the son of François GUIMONT & Jeanne de LAUNEY, from the Parish of Descamps, in Perche, France. Jeanne BITOUSET was the daughter of Antoine BITOUSET and Nicole DUPONT of St-Étienne de Mont in Paris. On the 18 Jun 1661, the Iroquois came to burn down Tadoussac. They stopped at Côte-de-Beaupré and massacred some of the colonists and brought many back into captivity. Louis was one of the latter. Jeanne BITOUSET married a second time in Château-Richer on 24 Nov 1661 to Jean BARETTE, son of Guillaume Barette and Titiane CARIN de BEUSEVILLE, Lisieux in Normandy, France. TENTH GENERATION

Claude GUIMOND married Anne LEROY on 8 Oct 1685 Notre Dame, Québec. They had six children. He then married Dorothée FOURNIER on 10 Feb 1721 in Montmagny. (1)(2)(3)(5)(6)

Louis GUIMOND married Marie Françoise RICHARD on 6 Nov 1713 Cap St. Ignace Montmagny, Québec.(1)(2)(3)(5)(6)

EIGHTH GENERATION

Jean Gabriel GUIMOND married Ursule Reine LEMIEUX on 10 April 1763 Cap St. Ignace, Montmagny, Québec. (1)(2)(3)(5)(6)

SIXTH GENERATION

François Xavier GUIMOND married Marie Marguerite BERNIER on 6 Oct 1789 Cap St. Ignace, Montmagny, Québec. They had twelve children. He then married Angélique BERNIER on 18 Feb 1822 in L'Islet. (1)(2)(3)(5)(6)

FIFTH GENERATION

Hilaire GUIMOND married Catherine POIRIER on 16 Feb 1830 St Germain Parish, Rimouski, Québec County, Québec. (1)(2)(3)(5)

FOURTH GENERATION

Joseph Jean-Baptiste GUIMOND married Christine POULIOT - 7 Jan 1867 St. Octave, Matane County, Diocese of Rimouski, Québec. Jean-Baptiste died 27 Jan 1909 in Sherbrooke, Québec. (1)(2)(3)(5)

Jean GUIMOND married Josephine OLIVIER on 5 Nov 1894 East Angus, Compton County, Québec. (4)

SECOND GENERATION

Marie Clara Etoila GUIMOND was born Dec 10 1908 in Sherbrooke, Qc, Canada and baptised Dec 10 1908 at St Michel's Church in Sherbrooke. She died Jan 15 1970 in Manchester, Ct. She married Laurier Rene BADEAU on Sept 3 1934 in Berlin, NH.

FIRST GENERATION

Marie Jeaninne Lucille BADEAU married Robert WRIGHT April 12 1958 in Broadbrook, Ct.
