Léonard ÉTHIER was born in 1641 at St-Martial, Évêché (diocese of) de Limoges, in Manot, Confolens, Angoumois, France. He married Élisabeth GODILLON on 22 Sep 1670 in L'Île-Jésus, Montréal. He died between 28 Apr 1689 and 17 Apr 1697 in Lachenaie, Québec. Élisabeth was born in 1651 in Notre-Dame-Des-Aydes, Blois, Évêché de Chartres, Orleanais, France. She died after 24 Jan 1715 in Lachenaie, L'Assomption, Québec. (1)(5) (2)

 

TENTH GENERATION

François ÉTHIER was born in October 1674 in Montréal, Ile-de-Montréal, Québec. He married Marguerite MILLOT MILLIOT MILLAULT on 23 Nov 1701 in Varennes. Marguerite, the daughter of Jacques MILOT & Jeanne HERBERT, was born on 18 Jul 1682 in Montréal, Île-de-Montréal. She died in July 1714 in Repentigny, L'Assomption, Québec. Jacques MILOT was born in 1643 in Crouzille, Lemans, Département de Maine, France. He died on 15 Aug 1699 in Montréal. He married Jeanne HERBERT on 7 Mar 1660. Jeanne was born in 1647 in Québec. She died 25 Mar 1687 in Montréal, Québec.(1)(2)

 

NINTH GENERATION

Étienne ÉTHIERwas born 11 June 1710 in Repentigny, L'Assomption, Québec. He married Marie Madeleine ROY on 25 Feb 1734 in Repentigny. Marie Madeleine, the daughter of Pierre ROY & Angélique AUTIN, died on 12 July 1754. (1)(5)(2)

 

EIGHTH GENERATION

Joseph Pascal ÉTHIER was born in 1741. He married Marie-Françoise GRAVEL on 7 Jan 1765 in Repentigny. Marie-Françoise, the daughter of Guillaume GRAVEL & Marie-Françoise BRISSON, was born in 1736. (1)(5)(2)

 

SEVENTH GENERATION

Joseph ÉTHIER was born about 1770. He married Marie-Anne DUBORD LATOURELLE on 20 Jan 1794 in Repentigny. Marie-Anne was born about 1770. She is listed in the Repentigny Marriage Register as Marie-Anne LATOUR. (1)(5)(2)

 

SIXTH GENERATION

Joseph ÉTHIER married Marie PAYET on 9 October 1820 in Repentigny, County L'Assomption. Marie was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste PAYET & Marie-Anne LANGLOIS-LACHAPELLE. (5)(2)

 

FIFTH GENERATION

Joseph ÉTHIER married Anne GRENIER on 6 November 1848 in Repentigny, County L'Assomption. Anne was the daughter of François GRENIER & Adélaide PICHÉ (5)(6)(2)

 

FOURTH GENERATION

Elzéar ÉTHIER married Vitaline DUFORT-BOUGRET, the daughter of Joseph DUFORT-BOUGRET & Onésime DESJARDINS on 7 June 1881 in Repentigny, County L'Assomption, Québec. (5)(6)

 

THIRD GENERATION

Adélard ÉTHIER was born about 1890. He married Berthe GIRARD on 13 June 1911 at St-Zotique de Montréal . He died in 1951 at age 65 years. Berthe GIRARD, the daughter of Israël GIRARD & Marie-Louise "Éloise" HÉNAULT, was born in August 1889 in St-Germain de Grantham, Québec. Israël was born in Feb 1854 in St-Germain de Grantham, Québec and died on 17 Nov 1919 in Montréal. He married Marie-Louise on 4 July 1882 in St-Guillaume d'Upton. (4)(3)

 

SECOND GENERATION

Alcide ÉTHIER was born on 13 October 1915 in Montréal, Québec. He was a salesman. He married Gertrude LEMAIRE on 7 Jun 1941 in the French Baptist Church of the Oratory in Montréal (dans L'église baptiste française de l'Oratoire, Montréal). Gertrude was born in 1918. She was a sketcher. Gertrude was the daughter of Pierre LEMAIRE, who was born about 1882 in Magog, Québec Canada, and Lucie GIRARD, who were married on 29 Sep 1913 in St-Zotique Church in Montréal. FIRST GENERATION

Louise-Andrée ÉTHIER was born 24 Feb 1944 in Verdun, Québec.
