Le 20 mars 2003 rappelle le 10e anniversaire de la béatification de Dina Bélanger. Le lendemain, soit le 21 mars, le pape Jean-Paul II proclamait « sainte » Claudine Thévenet, la fondatrice de la Congrégation des Religieuses de Jésus-Marie à laquelle appartient Dina Bélanger. Deux événements de grâces et de joie unique !

Rappelons-nous quelques-unes des paroles prononcées lors de ces événements de grâce par notre pape Jean-Paul II, le 20 mars 1993 et citées dans l’Osservatore Romano, le journal du Vatican:

« La lumière jaillit du visage de celle que l’Église vénérera désormais comme bienheureuse, Dina Bélanger, de la Congrégation de Jésus-Marie. À l’heure de la prière du soir, il nous est bon de tourner nos regards vers cette âme ardente parvenue à un si haut degré d’intimité avec Dieu ». (cf. 30 mars 1993)

« Ses souffrances lui permirent de connaître l’identification au Christ qu’elle cherchait, elle qui a su aimer en souffrant et souffrir en aimant « Dina Bélanger montre par sa vie que le don sincère de nous-mêmes, source de notre vrai bonheur, peut se réaliser, en union avec le Christ Jésus même dans la souffrance. .» (cf. 20-21 mars 1993).

« L’intimité de la présence du Christ en Dina Bélanger, la vie de la Trinité Sainte en elle, apparaissent tout particulièrement dans son esprit d’offrande au Cœur du Fils de Dieu. De cette fidélité aux intentions du Cœur Eucharistique de Jésus et du Cœur Immaculée de Marie, jaillissent les traits les plus simples et les plus beaux de charité à l’égard de ses sœurs. « Dina Bélanger veut consumer le monde entier dans l’amour. Elle devient apôtre et missionnaire selon le Cœur de Dieu. » (cf. éd. 30 mars 1993)

Friends of Dina,

March 20, 2003 reminds us of the 10th anniversary of the beatification of Dina Bélanger. The following day, March 21, Pope John Paul II proclaimed "Saint" Claudine Thévenet, the foundress of the Congregation of the Religious of Jesus and Mary to which Dina belongs. Two events of graces and unique joy!

Let us recall some of the words spoken at the occasion of these events of grace by our Pope John Paul II, on March 20, 1993 and cited in the Osservatore Romano, the journal of the Vatican:

"Light shines forth from the face of whom the Church will now on venerate at Blessed, Dina Bélanger, of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary. During evening prayer, it is good for us to turn our sights toward this blazing soul having attained such a high degree of intimacy with God". (cf. 30 March 1993)

"Her sufferings allowed her to realize the connection to Christ for which she was searching, she who knew how to love while suffering and suffer while loving. Dina Bélanger demonstrates through her life the sincere gift of oneself, source of true happiness, can be attained in union with Jesus Christ even in suffering." (cf. 20-21 March 1993).

"The intimacy of the presence of Christ in Dina Bélanger, the life of the Blessed Trinity in her, appear especially in her spirit of offering to the Heart of the Son of God. From this fidelity to the intentions of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus and of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, pour forth the most simple and the most beautiful features of charity toward her sisters. Dina Bélanger wants to consume the entire world in love. She becomes apostle and missionary according to the Heart of God." (cf. ed. 30 March 1993)
