1734. Noël MORIN was born in around 1609 in St-Étienne-de-Comté-Robert, Brie, France. He was a half-brother to François HÉBERT. He was also known as Noël CHARRON. He was a wheelwright. He arrived in New France before 1639. He married Hélène DESPORTES, the widow of Guillaume HÉBERT and the first French woman born in New France, on 9 January 1640 in Québec. He died on 10 February 1680 at Rivière-du-Sud, Montmagny. (2)(5)
1735. Hélène DESPORTES was born on 7 July 1620 in Notre-Dame des Recources, Québec, the first French child to survive in the colony. Her godmother was Hélène BOULLÉ, the wife of Samuel de Champlain. She followed her parents back to France in 1629, only to return as early as 1632 with her parents. She was the widow of Guillaume HÉBERT whom she had married on 1 October 1634 in Québec, at the age of fourteen. She was among the beneficiaries in Champlain's will of 1635. Her uncle Guillaume COUILLARD undertook the guardianship of her three children. She died on 24 June 1675 in Québec. (3)(4)

i. Agnès Marie MORIN was born 21 January 1641 in Québec. She first married Nicolas GAUDRY BOURBONNIERE, son of Jacques GAUDRY & Charlotte CHEVALIER, on 17 November 1653 in Québec. Nicolas died on 22 and was buried on 23 June 1669 in Québec. Agnès then married Ignace BONHOMME BEAUPRÉ, son of Nicolas BONHOMME & Catherine GOUGET on 12 January 1671 in Québec. Agnès died 30 August 1687 in Québec. Ignace died on 21 and was buried on 22 April 1711 in Ste-Foy. (1)
ii. Germain MORIN was born on 15 January 1642 in Québec. He was the first canadian-born priest, ordained on 19 September 1665 by Mgr. de Laval, whom he served as secretary. He died on 20 August 1702 in the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec. (1)

v. Jean Baptiste MORIN was born on 25 May 1645 in Québec. He married Catherine DECANTIGNY BELLEAU on 22 November 1667 in Québec. He died on 12 December 1694 in Québec. (1)
