ELEVENTH GENERATION

1942. Louis CARREAU was born before 1619 in France. He was also known as Louis CARDAN dit LAFRAICHEUR. He appears as a godfather at Trois-Rivières on 20 Aug 1646. He probably was the Louis who worked for the Jesuits at Trois-Rivières in 1648. He married Jeanne LEROUGE on 30 Apr 1654 in Québec. Louis became a respected colonist in the Beaupré area. He died 27 May 1693 in the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec at the age of 71. (1)(2)(8) (9)

1943. Jeanne LEROUGE was born in 1625 in France. She died on 9 Mar 1696 in L'Ange-Gardien. She was also known as Jeanne LEROUGE dit ST-DENIS. (9)

child399 i. Marie CARREAU-CARDANwas born 20 Mar 1655 in Québec. She married Médéric Emery BLOUIN LAVIOLETTE on 30 Nov 1669 in Château-Richer, Québec. She died 10 Feb 1722 in St-Jean, Île-Orléans. (7)

child415 ii. Marguerite CARREAU was born on 16 Dec 1661 and baptized 24 Jun 1662 in Québec. She first married Louis PROVOST on 17 Feb 1681 in Château-Richer. She then married Mathieu ERINGUE/TESSIER on 25 Nov 1687 in Beauport. She died 15 Oct 1737 in Beauport.(1)(2)(3)(4)(5)
