680. Jacques BOISSEL was born in 1601 in Perche. He married Marie ERIPERT before 26 June 1640 in France. He made his residence in Québec and opened the first butcher shop there. He rented the Îles-aux-Oies to Governor Montmagny for grazing cattle. He was confirmed at Québec on 24 February 1660. He died in Québec after 27 November 1687.(1)(3)

681. Marie ERIPERT was born in 1611. She died on 1 November 1697 in Québec. She was also known as Marie HERIPEL. (3)

child340 viii. Gilles BOISSEL was born on 9 and baptized 10 February 1658 in Québec. He married Marguerite Angélique SALOUÉ/SALOYÉ/SALOIS on 15 July 1697 in St-Laurent, I.O. He died on 17 August 1715 in (La Durantaye) St-Michel, Yamaska, Québec. (1)(2)(4)

childii. Noël BOISSEL was baptized on 13 May 1641 in Beaupré. He married Marie MORIN, daughter of Pierre MORIN & Isabelle PELLERIN, born around 1646 from Challans, évêché de Luçon, Poitou, France, on 23 July 1669 in Québec. He died on the 19 May and was buried on 20 May 1721 at the age of 80. Noël and Marie had ten children, six of whom survived.(4)(5)(6)(7)(8)

childi. Claude was born on 5 and baptized on 6 May 1671 in Québec. He was a carpenter and master boat launcher. He married Marguerite MORIN dit BOUCHER, born around 1676, daughter of Pierre MORIN & Marie-Madeleine MARTIN, around 1693. Claude died and was buried on 15 December 1716 at the age of 48. Marguerite died on 25 and was buried on 26 January 1718 at the age of 38. (4)

Claude and Marguerite had nine children: Jean-Baptiste (1649-1728-1729); Marguerite (1696-1717-1730); Pierre (1698-?); Marthe (1701-1721-1776); Claude (1704-1731); Marie-Louise (1706-1736-?); Michel (c.1708-?); Antoine-Marie (1711-1734-1790); Charlotte (1716-?) (4)

childii. Charles BOISSEL was born on 7 and baptized on 8 November 1672. In the Percé Census 1688, he is listed as 14 years of age. (4)

childiii. Louis BOISSEL was born on 24 and baptized on 25 Nov 1674 in Québec. He married Geneviève CÔTÉ, daughter of Jean CÔTÉ & Geneviève VERDON, on 18 Nov 1709 in L'Ange-Gardien. He died on 10 and was buried on 11 April 1719 in Québec, at the age of 45. (4)

childiv. Marie BOISSEL was born and baptized on 7 Sept 1676 in Québec. She died and was buried on 13 Sept 1676. (4)

childv. Pierre-Noël BOISSEL was born and baptized on 26 April 1678 in Québec. He married Louise GESSERON dit BRÛLOT, born about 1687, daughter of Louis GESSERON & Agathe FOURNIER, on 8 Oct 1701 in Lauzon. He died on 16 and was buried on 17 Jan 1773 in Beaumont. Louise was buried on 23 Jan 1773, in Beaumont, at the age of 89. (4)

Pierre-Noël & Louise had eight children: Pierre (1708-1708); Louise (1709-1727-1782); Pierre (1711-1745-1760); Marie (1714-1737-1790); Charles (1717-1763-1794); Joseph (1719-1763-?); Marie-Madeleine (1721-1745&1746 -?); Louise (1724-1765&1775-1799).

childvi. Unnamed son BOISSEL born around 1680 becaue according to the Percé Census 1688, he was listed as 8 years old. (4)

childvii. Françoise BOISSEL was born around 1682. She married Pierre LEFEBVRE, son of Thomas LEFEBVRE & Geneviève PELLETIER, on 15 Sept in Beaumont. She died and was buried on 24 Jul 1712 according to the Québec Register. (4)

childviii. Children BOISSEL born before the Census 1686. (4)

childix. Joseph BOISSEL born around 1688. He married Marie-Ursule PANNETON dit LE FIFTRE, daughter of Claude PANNETON & Marguerite DOYSON on 7 January 1716, at the age of 28. She died before 15 September 1727. (4)
