3669. Priscilla ? was born around 1602. She was probably Scottish. Her second marriage was to Capt. William Wright on 18 April 1680 in Boston MA. She died in New England at the beginning of 1692. (2)

i. Pierre MELANSON dit LAVERDURE was born around 1632. He married Marguerite MIUS d"ENTREMONT (Philippe & Madeleine HÉLIE) around 1665. Marguerite was born around 1650; she died in St-Charles-des-Mines after the Census 1714. He died after the Census 1714 in St-Charles-des-Mines. (2)

Children were: Philllipe (c1666-c1696-1774); Cécile (c1668-c1687-1753); Pierre dit Pedro (c1670-c1695-?); Marie (c1673--c1694-?); Marguerite (c1676-c1696-1744); Élisabeth (Isabelle) (c1679-c1696&1709-c1719); Jean (c1681-c1701-?); Madeleine (1684-1702-?); Anne (1686-1705-?); Paul (c1691-1712-?); son (c1693-d.c1707). Children were born in Boston: John was born on 30 December 1681; Samuel was born on 26 July 1683. Zachary was born on 28 June 1685. Sarah was born on 13 February 1687. William was born on 23 January 1689. (2)

Pierre (father) was a French prostestant who married during his exile in England an English lady named Priscilla. He was brought to Acadie with his family by Thomas Temple in the spring of 1657. Pierre, Priscilla and their youngest daughter retired to Boston after the Brédat Treaty in 1667. The other two sons, married to Acadians, remained in Acadia. La Mothe-Cadillac related that the two sons were Scottish married to two French women. (2)
