11694. Sieur de Buisson Jean GUYON was born 18 September 1592 in Perche, France. He was also known as Jean DION-GUYON. He was a stone-mason. (Une des premières familles établies au Québec en 1610 avec Samuel de Champlain.) One of the first families established in Québec in 1610 with Samuel de Champlain.   Sieur du Buisson - Lord of Buisson. He married Mathurine Marie ROBIN on 2 June 1615 at St-Jean de Mortagne, Perche, France. In 1634, he was hired by Robert GIFFARD to clear the land in the Beauport fief with a promise of a sub-fief of 1000 arpents in this seigneurie. Jean had arrived in 1634 with his eldest son Jean, but the rest of his family did not arrive until 1635. He died on 30 and was buried on 31 May 1663 in Beauport, Québec, Canada, where he lived most of his life. (2)(3)(8)(11)

i. Marie Barbe GUYON was baptized on 19 April 1617 in Saint-Jean de Mortagne, Perche, France. Godparents were Jean POUSSET & Barbe POULARD. She died 27 and was buried on 29 Novemer 1700 in St-Pierre, Île d'Orléans, Québec. On 11 February 1632 in Tourouvre, Perche, France, she married Pierre PARADIS, son of Jacques PARADIS & Michelle LEPELLE, who was born on 20 July 1604 in Sees, Perche, France. vi. Claude GUYON was baptized on 22 April 1629 in Notre-Dame de Mortagne, Perche. Godparents were Claude CHOUET & Suzanne RUMET. He married Catherine COLIN, daughter ot Jacques COLIN & Madeleine DE BAUBUSE, on 7 February 1655 in Québec. He died on 23 February 1694 and was buried in Québec. Catherine was born before 1638 in St-Germain, l'Auxerrois, Paris, France. She died on 10 January 1688 in Ste-Famille, Île-d'Orléans, Québec. (1)(3)(6)(10)

Marie-Madeleine GUYON was born and baptized on 15 October 1689 in Ste-Famille, île d'Orléans. She married Louis LANGLOIS dit SAINT-JEAN, son of Jean LANGLOIS & Marie CADIEUX on 5 November 1708 in St-François, Île d'Orléans. She died on 30 November 1708 in Île-aux-Grues. She was buried on 10 January 1709 in a blessed grave in Cap-St-Ignace. (9)

ii. Jean GUYON dit DuBuisson was baptized 1 August 1619 in St-Jean de Mortagne, Perche, France. His godparents were Jean DUPONT and Anne PASSAVANT. He came to New France with his father in 1634. He married Élisabeth COUILLARD on 27 November 1645 in Québec. They had thirteen children. They made their home at Château-Richer in the Seigneurie of Beaupré. In 1667, he became the Royal Surveyor. Jean died 14 and was buried on 16 January 1694 Château-Richer. Élisabeth died there also on 5 and was buried on 7 April 1704. (1)(3)(8)(10)(11)

iii. Simon GUYON was born 2 August and baptized 2 September 1621 in St-Jean de Mortagne, Perche, France. Godparents were Simon CHASTEL and Jeanne DESIONIZ. He arrived in New France with his family in 1635 at the age of 14. As a carpenter, he settled on the shore of the Beaupré where he married Louise RACINE, who was born on 2 September 1641 in Québec, the daughter of Étienne RACINE & Marguerite MARTIN, on 10 November 1653 in Québec. He sold his share of the Dubuisson sub-fief to his brother François in 1669. He is listed as 55 years old in the Château-Richer Census 1681. At the age of 71, he died on 8 and was buried on 9 February 1682 in Québec. Louise died on 5 and was buried on 6 January 1675 in Château-Richer. (1)(3)(8)(9)(10)

i. Jean GUYON was born on 3 and baptized on 5 October 1659 in Québec. He was ordained a priest in Québec on 21 Nov 1683. He was made a Canon on 7 November 1684. He died in France on 10 January 1687. (9)
ii. Marie GUYON was born 25 and was baptized 27 March 1662. She fist married Guillaume THIBAULT, son of Guillaume THIBAULT & Marie-Madeline FRANÇOIS, on 10 November 1681 in Château-Richer. She then married René RÉAUME, son of René RÉAUME & Marie CHEVREAU. (9)
iii. Marguerite GUYON was born on 7 and baptized on 12 September 1665 in Château-Richer. She married Louis D'AMOURS de CHAUFFOURS et de JEMSEG, sont of Mathieu D'AMOURS & Marie MARSOLET on 1 October 1686 in Québec. (9)
iv. Louise GUYON was born on 30 April and baptized on 1 May 1668 in Château-Richer. She first married Charles THIBAULT, son of Guillaume THIBAULT & Marie-Madeleine FRANÇOIS, on 10 April 1684 in Château-Richer. i. Joseph GUYON dit DION was born and baptized on 16 January 1674 in Québec. He was a buccaneer and captain of the merchant marine in Canada. He married Marguerite DUGAS, born around 1680, daughter of Martin DUGAS & Marguerite PETITPAS, around 1697 in Louisbourg, Acadia. Marguerite married a second time to François CRESSONNET dit BEAUSÉJOUR on 23 May 1717 in Louisburg. Joseph died 15 September 1714. (9)
i. Jean-Baptiste GUYON was born around 1698 in Acadia. He first married Anne-Madeleine LA CHAUME, daughter of Louis LA CHAUME & Marie Madeleine TRIEL, on 10 November 1725 in Louisbourg. His second marriage was to Gillette COMMÈRE dit LA CHAPELLE, daughter of ThomAs COMMÈRE & Charlotte VINCENT dit DESMARETS and widow of Alexandre DIHARS dit ESTEVIN, on around 1746 in Louisbourg. Jean-Baptiste died before 28 October 1765. (9)

iii. Marguerite GUYON was born around 1698 in Acadia. She first married Pierre BONIN de LA CHAUME, son of Louise BONIN & Françoise CHAUVIN and widower of Bernardine VRIGNAUD, in 1717. A contract was drawn up by Notary Micoin in Louisbourg on 2 Dec 1717. Her second marriage was to Jean PERRÉ, son of Antoine PERRÉ & Marie-Anne PONS, on 18 January 1735 in St-Espirt. (9)
iv. Jacques GUYON was born and baptized on 7 January 1712. He died on 24 and was buried on 25 January 1736 in Louisbourg at the age of 24. (9)

She then married Jean CHEVALIER, widower of Françoise BROUILLÉ dit GRÉZÉ on 14 July 1710. She died on 4 and was buried on 5 August 1744 at the age of 80. (9)
