176. Joseph François FOURQUIN dit LÉVEILLÉEwas born on 22 and baptized 23 April 1727 in St-Privat, diocese of Thol, Lorraine, France. Vitée or Vittel is situated in the heart of the Lorraine Plains. It is southeast of Newfchâteau in the Department of Vosges and south of Nancy in Lorraine, France.
He was also known as Joseph FOURQUAIN dit LÉVEILLÉE (Tanguay) and François FOURQUIN-LÉVEILLÉE. He is listed as a godfather to Marie Agathe CANTARA on the Baptismal Acte of 23 Oct 1759. His name appears as JOSEPH FOURCAIN LEVEILLE and his occupation is listed as "SOLDAT AU REGIMENT DE LANGUEDOC". His goddaughter Marie Agathe lived less than a month.
He married Marie-Anne GIGUÈRE on 22 February 1762 in St-Michel, Yamaska, Québec. The Marriage Contract was set up on 2 March 1762 with the Notary Louis PILLARD. Joseph Léveillé died and was buried on 30 June 1773 in St-Michel-d'Yamaska, Québec.(1)(3)(5)(2)(22)(23)

There is an entry in the Family Tree Maker's Archives: Passenger and Immigration Lists Index, 1500s-1900s that states "Fourquain, Joseph, 1762, Québec, from Norman Laybourn Emigrations of Alsaciens & Lorrains." This would probably indicate that Joseph was born in Diocèse de Thou, Toul, Lorraine, France, where his parents were married.

177. Marie Anne GIGUÈRE DESPINS was born on 16 and baptized on 17 May 1739 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. She married three times. She was the widow of Joseph PETIT GRANDMENIL aka François REGIS, whom she married on 6 February 1758. Marie Anne and Joseph has a son named Pierre PETIT. Marie-Anne married a third time to Jean-Baptiste CHEVALIER on 12 June 1786 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marie Anne died on 4 and was buried on 5 January 1802 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. There are two descending lineages from the Joseph Fourquin Léveillée & Marie Anne Giguère Despins to the Léveillée - Fourquin - Théroux Families.

Jacques married a second time to Marie Alexandre LALIBERTÉ on 30 November 1851 in St-Guillaume d'Upton. Jacques died on 11 and was buried on 13 July 1860 in St-David d'Yamaska.
Marie Catherine was born on 14 August and baptized 15 August 1779 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marie died on 8 and was buried 10 January 1845 in St-David d'Yamaska, Québec. (4) (15) (16) (23)

He married Marguerite TALUSSIER-LASALLE on 20 May 1787 in St-Michel, Yamaska, Québec. Marguerite died on 1 and was buried on 2 December 1842 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. iv. Agathe FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉ was born about 1765. She married Louis PARENT on 25 June 1787 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Louis, the son of Louis PARENT & Marie Thérèse FORCIER FORTIER, was born on 29 September 1767 in St-Marc-sur-Richelieu, Québec. Agathe died on 24 and was buried on 26 October 1844 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Louis died on 8 and was buried on 10 July 1854 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec.(1)(3)(10)(11)

iii.Jean Baptiste PARENT was born on 30 and baptized on 31 May 1790 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. He married Madeleine Magdelaine SAINT GERMAIN, daughter of Étienne SAINT GERMAIN & Anne CARDIN, on 28 August 1815 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Madeleine was born on 8 and was baptized on 9 October 1796 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Madeleine died on 13 and was buried on 14 April 1841 in St-Aimé, Massueveille, Richelieu, Québec. After Madeleine died, Jean Baptiste married Louise PAUL HUS probably in St-Robert. Jean Baptiste died on 15 and was buried on 17 September 1870 in St-Robert, Richelieu, Québec. (23)(1)(2)(3)(4)

ii. Louis PARENT was born and baptized on 27 February 1789 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He first married Dorothée SAINT GERMAIN, daugther of Joseph SAINT GERMAIN & Louise Catherine LEFORT on 28 October 1811 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Dorothée was born on 21 and was baptized on 23 December 1792 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Dorothée died on 13 and was buried on 15 February 1862 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. He then married Catherine LABBÉ, veuve de / widow of Jean-Baptiste THÉROUX on 10 November 1863 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Catherine, daughter of Michel LABBÉ & Dorothée SCHMID, was born and baptized on 22 April 1810 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Catherine died on 19 and was buried on 21 January 1868 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Louis died on 31 July and was buried on 2 August 1876 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. (1)(23)

i. Louis PARENT was born and baptized on 10 April 1788 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He died and was buried on 2 June 1788 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. (23)

iv. Agathe PARENT was born on 17 and baptized on 18 October 1791 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. She married Théophile DEGUIRE, son of Antoine DEGUIRE & Dorothée LAVALLÉE, on 13 November 1810 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. (1)(21)(23)

v. Joseph PARENT was born on 12 January 1793 and died and was buried on 19 February 1794 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. (23)

vi. Michel PARENT was born on 6 and baptized on 7 September 1794 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He married Marie Josephte Josette PELLETIER, daughter of Paul PELLETIER & Thérèse GINGRAS on 19 July 1819 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Josephte Josette was born on 16 and baptized on 17 February 1799 in St-Michel. Josephte Josette died 18 and was buried on 20 March 1860 in St-Robert, Richelieu, Québec. Michel died on 9 and was buried on 11 August 1862 in St-Robert, Richelieu, Québec. (23)(1)

vii. Joseph PARENT was born on 2 and baptized on 4 December 1795 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He married Marie COUTURIER, daughter of Michel COUTURIER & Marguerite CARON on 16 August 1819 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marie was born on 26 February and baptized on 1 March 1797 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Joseph died on 25 and was buried on 26 October 1826 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. After Joseph died, Marie married Modest RAICHE, son of Amable RAICHE & Angélique GONNEVILLE, on 23 February 1830 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marie died on 29 June and was buried on 1 July 1868 in St-Aimé, Massueville, Richelieu, Québec. (23)(1)

viii. Antoine PARENT was born on 26 & baptized on 27 October 1797 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He married Victoire MONDOUX MONDOUS, daughter of Louis MONDOUX & Marie CARTIER on 15 July 1822 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Victoire was born and baptized on 20 July 1804 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Victoire Mondou died on 14 and was buried on 16 May 1860 in St Robert, Richelieu, Quebec. Antoine Parent died on 13 and was buried on 15 December 1864 in St Robert, Richelieu, Québec. (23) (1)

ix. Marguerite PARENT was born and baptized on 16 December 1798 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. She married Pierre CARTIER, son of Jean-Baptiste CARTIER & Angèle GAGNIER on 22 July 1822 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Pierre was born and baptized on 3 March 1798 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. (23) (1)

x. Pierre PARENT was born on 1 and baptized on 4 January 1801 and died and was buried on 17 January 1801 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. (23)

xi. Marie PARENT was born and baptized on 20 May 1802 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. She married Michel GAUSSIN ST-GERMAIN, son of Joseph GAUSSIN ST-GERMAIN & Catherine LOUIS LEFORT on 5 November 1821 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Michel was born on 28 February and baptized on 1 March 1794 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marie died on 21 and buried on 24 November 1856 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Michel died on 15 and was buried on 16 December 1858 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. (23)(1)

xii. Jean François Régis PARENT was born on 29 and was baptized on 30 November 1803 and died and was buried on 7 July 1804 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. (23)

xiii. Jean-Baptiste PARENT was born on 10 and baptized on 11 April 1805 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He married Louise PARENTEAU, daughter of François PARENTEAU & Marie MILLET on 17 February 1827 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Louise was born around 1806. Jean Baptiste died on 26 and was buried on 27 September 1848 in St-Aimé, Massueville, Richelieu, Québec. Marie Louise died on 28 and was buried on 30 October 1876 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. xv. Théophile PARENT was born and baptized on 12 July 1809 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. He married Angèle BERGERON, daughter of Thomas BERGERON & Marie GIGUÈRE on 15 July 1828 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Angélique was born and baptized on 15 March 1816 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. (23) (1)

iv. Louis LÉVEILLÉ dit FOURQUIN was born 19 and baptized 20 November 1771 in the parish of St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Louis Léveillé died on the 6 and was buried on the 7 April 1784 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. (23)

vv. Jean-Luc LÉVEILLÉE first married Marie GUILBAULT, daughter of Grégoire GUILBEAU & Agathe MAILHOT, on 20 February 1797 in St-Michel, Yamaska, Québec. Marie Guilbault was born on 4 and baptized on 5 August 1782 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marie died on 30 and was buried on 31 August 1799 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec.
He then married Marguerite HÉBERT, daughter of Félix HÉBERT & Geneviève PAUL on 27 October 1800 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marguerite Hébert was born and baptized on 11 January 1782 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marguerite died on 4 and was buried on 5 March 1846 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Élisabeth, the daughter of Michel FOURQUIN & Catherine PARENTEAU, was born on 2 and baptized on 3 July 1818 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Joseph died on 4 and was buried on 7 September 1885 in St-Pie-de-Guire, Yamaska, Québec. Élisabeth died on 7 and was buried on 10 February 1903 in St-Pie-de-Guire, Yamaska, Québec. (23)
Jean Baptiste Johnny FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉ was born and baptized on 30 July 1849 in St-David d'Yamaska. He married Emélie PARENTEAU on 13 February 1871 in St-David d'Yamaska. Emélie, the daughter of Olivier PARENTEAU & Marie FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉE, was born on 27 and baptized on 28 February 1853 in St-David d'Yamaska. Jean died on 30 August and was buried on 1 September 1927 in St-Gérard d'Yamaska. Emélie died on 31 January and was buried on 3 February 1934 in St-Gérard d'Yamaska, Québec. Their daughter DeLima Léveillé married Daniel MONDOU on 2 July 1895 in St-François-du-Lac, Yamaska. (23)

Maxime FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉE was born on 27 and baptized on 28 January 1842 in St-François-du-Lac. He married Rose de Lima PARENT, daughter of Joseph PARENT & Elizabeth LASALLE, on 10 October 1865 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Rose de Lima was born and baptized on 21 January 1849 in St-Aimé, Massueville, Co. Richelieu, Québec. Maxime died on 24 and was buried on 26 February 1898 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Rose de Lima died on 11 and buried on 13 April 1937 in St-Lucien, Drummond, Québec. (23)

Joseph LÉVEILLÉ was born and baptized on 5 January 1867 in St-François-du-Lac, Yamaska. Québec. He married Marie Sarah CARDIN LOISEAU on 3 February 1891 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marie Sarah, the daughter Louis Basile CARDIN & Marguerite PELISSIER, was born on 21 and baptized on 22 November 1872 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Joseph died on 15 September 1954 in St-Lucien, Drummond, Québec. Marie Sarah died on 15 January 1967 in Drummondville, Drummond, Québec. (1)(23)

She first married Louis Alfred HAMEL, son of Louis HAMEL & Emélie MÉLANÇON, on 13 February 1871 in St-David d'Yamaska, Québec. Louis Alfred died on 21 June 1877 in St-David d'Yamaska. Elizabeth then married Ferdinand HÉBERT, on 4 January 1881 in St-David d'Yamaska. Ferdinand died on 8 June 1918 in St-Aimé, Massueville, Richelieu. Elizabeth died on 10 May 1921 in St-Aimé, Massueville, Richelieu, Québec. (23)
