Ancestor of both the grandfather Joseph Léveillée and the grandmother Césaire Théroux of the author of this website Norm Léveillée.
705. Marie Anne PHÉLISSE was the daughter of Nicholas PHÉLISSE from the parish of St-Privat.
NINTH GENERATION
Pierre FOURQUIN dit LÉVEILLÉE was born & baptized on 24 January 1686 in St-Privat, Vittel, diocèse de Toul, Vosges, France. He was also known as FOURQUAIN dit LÉVEILLÉ. He married Barbe PHÉLISSE / FÉLISSE before 31 December 1723 in Vittel, diocèse de Toul, Vosges, Lorraine, France. Barbe was born in the eastern region of Lorraine, France, which is presently the Department of Meurthe-et-Moselle, France. She was also known as Barbe FÉLIX/FRANÇOIS/FÉLISSE.
According to Tanguay, Pierre is listed as FOURQUAIN with the surname LÉVEILLÉ. PRDH interpreted Barbe's family name as FÉLIX in their documents. (1)(2)
EIGHTH GENERATION
Joseph François FOURQUIN-LÉVEILLÉEwas born on 22 & baptized 23 April 1727 in St-Privat, diocese of Thol, Lorraine, France. He married Marie Anne GIGUÈRE on 22 February 1762 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marie Anne was born on 16 and baptized on 17 May 1739 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Joseph died and was buried on 30 June 1773 in St-Michel-d'Yamaska, Québec. Marie Anne died on 4 and was buried on 5 January 1802 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. (2)(1)
SEVENTH GENERATION
Jean Luc LÉVEILLÉE married Marguerite HÉBERT, daughter of Félix HÉBERT & Genviève PAUL, on 27 October 1800 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marguerite Hébert was born and baptized on 11 January 1782 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Marguerite Hébert died on 4 and was buried on 5 March 1846 in St-Michel d'Yamaska.
Jean Luc first married Marie GUILBAULT, daughter of Grégoire GUILBAULT & Agathe MILLET, on 20 February 1797 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Marie Guilbault was born on 4 and baptized on 5 August 1782 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Jean-Luc died on 14 and was buried on 15 February 1810 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec.(2)
SIXTH GENERATION
Joseph FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉE, son of Jean Luc FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉ & Marguerite HÉBERT, was born and baptized on 9 December 1808 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. He married Élisabeth FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉ, daughter of Michel FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉ & Catherine PARENTEAU, on 13 February 1838 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Élisabeth was born on 2 and baptized on 3 July 1818 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Joseph died on 4 and was buried on 7 September 1885 in St-Pie-de-Guire, Yamaska, Québec. Élisabeth died on 7 and was buried on 10 February 1903 in St-Pie-de-Guire, Yamaska, Québec. (1)(2)
FIFTH GENERATION
Maxime FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉE, son of Joseph FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉ & Élisabeth FOURQUIN LÉVEILLÉ, was born on 27 and baptized on 28 January 1842 in St-François-du-Lac. He married Rose Delima PARENT, daughter of Joseph PARENT & Elizabeth LASALLE, on 10 October 1865 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Rose de Lima was born and baptized on 21 January 1849 in St-Aimé, Massueville, Co. Richelieu, Québec. Maxime died on 24 and was buried on 26 February 1898 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. Rose de Lima died on 11 and buried on 13 April 1937 in St-Lucien, Drummond, Québec.(1)(2)
Marie Sarah CARDIN LOISEAU, daughter of Louis Basile CARDIN & Marguerite PELISSIER, was born on 21 and baptized on 22 November 1872 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. She married Joseph LÉVEILLÉE, son of Maxime LÉVEILLÉE & Rose PARENT, on 3 February 1891 in St-Michel d'Yamaska. Joseph died on 15 September 1954 in St-Lucien, Drummond, Québec. Marie Sarah died on 15 January 1967 in Drummondville, Drummon, Québec. (1)(2)
Camille Hugo LÉVEILLÉE, son of Joseph LÉVEILLÉE & Sarah CARDIN, was born on 13 and baptized on 14 July 1905 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec. He married Marie Clara Berthe HAMEL, daughter of Joseph Alexandre HAMEL & Juliette BOIVIN, on 26 June 1937 in St-Jean-Baptiste de Québec, Québec. Marie Clara was born on 4 and baptized on 5 March 1911 in St-Romuald d'Etchemin, Lévis, Québec. Camille died on 20 December 1955 in St-Georges, Québec. (1)(2)
